can we have a vote here for world rules & old rules & the pros & cons let us know on here & which way you would vote

When world rules were 1st brought into the lincoln green league, I was 1 of many that were dubious, but after 3 weeks of playing them, it was the best thing we ever did, it instantly stopped the 12.30 finishes or with some teams, finishing matches off on different night, coz the landlord had kicked them out!!!!

Old rules players don't like the changes coz of the deliberate foul rule & coz they can't roll up or clear up in 1 visit, avoid the time foul if you change though, at least in league matches!!

totally agree with you smurf,since we played in the tues world rules league we ave finished our games by 10-30 or b4 as you know wen we played you,i think old rules players are scared of them because its more skillful,sick of playing against players on thurs who dont know wen to go 4 game!

Yeah, especially when i had to play sum1 as cagey as youff the other week, far too safety conscious for my liking!!!!!! He took all of a full minute in 1 visit to clear up!!!!!

come on all you registered site users lets have a vote old rules or world rules if there is enough intrest you could have 1 league world & 1 old rules like they do in the huddersfield league but on a larger scale, come on leeds premier lets move forward you cant enjoy still playing at midnight

Come on Smurf it was at least 65 seconds. So the world rules saga continues to part the league. They should just bring them in and let the other teams decide if they want to compete or not.
I mean they post forums from Spain on here so they are obviously pool crazy and would want to play no matter what changes were brought in.

A Poll is now up and running in the Leeds Premier League section. I think that is the best place for it as we are not discussing the rules, just whether Leeds Premier should adopt them

a g m 2nd sept @ the rifleman & i have a few points i want to address but the main one will be yet again playing world rules,i will be putting it to the teams that we have one league world rules & one old rules it works in the huddersfield league quite well & speaking to the majority of teams this season they seems to be a lot more intrest than the last couple of seasons but lets see how it goes on sept 2nd
