Thanks for that magician. That was 2 cracking results.

For people that don't yet know:

Bramley Globetrotters 13 - 5 Pilky's 'A'

Leeds 'A' 14 - 4 Grove Elite

I wonder what odds you would have got for those results at the start of last Sunday? Well, it certainly does make it possible for any one of the above 4 teams to win this competition, never mind runners up!

The table as it stands, unofficially, should look something like this:

Pilky's 'A' Played 5 Points 51
Grove Elite Played 5 Points 50
Leeds 'A' Played 5 Points 46
Globetrotters Played 5 Points 43
Triangle Played 4 Points 13 (Triangle may have got more points back?)

8 points separating 4 teams.
Well, we have our bye next month so we just have to sit back and watch the rest fight it out. You are away to Pilky's. That is a tough one. They will be wanting to make amends after Sunday. Go for it lads

Our team is in action again this Sunday (21st October), away to Triangle.

Only a substantial win will give us any real hopes of qualifying for the Yarmouth trip in April.

Let's hope we get it and that it all balances on the last game of the season, when the three musketeers et al make the trip over to our place :)

Lot's of weird results this season so we know anything can happen over the next 6 week or so ....

Cheers, Cast

This Sunday (25th Nov) our biggest game of the season, Bramley Globetrotters at home to Leeds 'A'. Also the last game of the season.

For our Leeds Premier League players, get yourself down to the Globe on Sunday and get a chance to see 2 professionals from our region (and 1 ex pro) battling it out for a place in Yarmouth next year.

If there was ever a chance to promote World Rules then this is it! If anything, you will see that 18 games of pool can be played in under 4 hours

Good luck lads, we still have a chance here. This is gonna be a cracker

well, rumour has it that pilky's can't field a team for Sunday as they are at the blackpool comp which in turn means that Triangle get a 12-0, and also means that the match Sunday is even bigger now as if Bramley beat us by more than 4 frames they will collect second place, if we get a win or 7 frames we get second, if we reach our original target of 13 we win the league (i think based on matches against each other)

we will have to wait and see if this is to be confirmed.

Globetrotters 4 - 14 Leeds (A). Well done Leeds. You showed us what it's all about today. Job done as far as we are concerned. Still in the top flight for another season. Hopefully we can get a few pro's to sign up next season

all the best , cast
